Each day, our enthusiastic camp counselors will teach your children about our beautiful island as they explore and have fun all around our Kauai beach hotel resort. There's also a special "night camp" to coincide with your nightcap on your private lanai. Some of the activities available are:
Campers are taught about Hawaiis endangered birds and animals
Your child will get to experience first hand the frenzy our Koi go into when it's "kau kau" (meal) time
Little hands will fashion unique bracelets out of shells to take home as souvenirs.
Make your own volcano and watch it erupt!
Your child can design a fish mosaic, a message in a bottle, and much more.
Campers learn the art of weaving palm fronds into animals and other play things
A splashing good time will be had by all
Your child will be doing the Hukilau like a pro in no time flat after these lessons
These works of art will bring the flora of Kauai home without the agricultural inspection
Keiki will explore the resort property with our counselors, learning about the flora and fauna as they wander.
Get up close and personal with our resident parrots; Niele (Hyacinth Macaw), Rico (Green Winged Macaw), Duke (Blue and Gold Macaw), and Malie (Moluccan Cockatoo). Each day, these friendly birds are perched in the expansive lobby atrium for our guests to visit with. Three times a week, one of the parrots is brought into Seaview Terrace for the exciting and interesting "Parrot Talk" program, led by our wildlife attendant. Learn all about these fascinating creature’s mannerisms and personalities, which are amazingly human-like. This is especially fun for kids of all ages, and photographs are greatly encouraged.
Flower Lei Making - Using flowers gathered around the resort, the children will learn how to string them together into a traditional Hawaiian lei
